Objective
You will recognize the roadmap for low-carbon construction and understand the legislation and regulatory practices guiding environmental responsibility in building. You will be able to use tools and metrics for circular economy and construction. You will explore methods for measuring the environmental performance of properties, enabling verification and comparison of buildings’ efficiency, sustainability, and circularity.
Content
The most important themes of the course are the understanding of the legislation and authority guidance governing more environmentally friendly construction at a general level, the assessment of the sustainability classification of a construction project using the chosen method and the understanding of the principles of circular economics.
