Objective

The object of the course
After completing the course, you will have the requirements set by financial services regulations for the knowledge and competence of personnel providing information on and selling services of financial sector companies. Completion of the APV1 degree provides a regulatory assessment of knowledge and competence.

Course competences
Ethics: The student is able to take responsibility for his own actions and their consequences and to reflect on them in accordance with the professional ethical principles and values of his field.
Business competence: The student has a wide-ranging understanding of the requirements of the regulation of the shipping service industry in business.
Sustainable development: The student knows how to use knowledge related to his own field to search for, implement and establish sustainable solutions and operating models.

The learning objectives of the course
The qualification is part of self-regulation of finance sector and it covers basics of essential competences needed in financial sector positions.

Further information

The course is only offered in the finance field orientation. The course is completed independently in accordance with the current APV1 requirements, and after completion an application is made for inclusion in the degree. Students who have the prerequisites to pass the exam within the study time frame and the number of credits are selected to complete the course.
The APV1 exam is jointly organized by APV-sijoitustutkinnot Oy and Aalto EE and is conducted online.
