Objective

The object of the course
You will learn how to run modern sales in the business organization efficiently.

Course competences
Ethics: The student is able to take responsibility for their own actions and their consequences and reflects on them in accordance with the ethical principles and values of their field.
Proactive development: The student solves problem situations creatively and reforms operating methods together with others.

The learning objectives of the course:
You understand the importance of modern sales for business. You can apply knowledge to implement and develop your sales activities in a responsible and sustainable way. During the course you will learn about the processes and practices required for modern sales and sales management. You will recognise the value of sustainable and responsible sales for the company, the sales organisation, the customer and also for society and understand how digitalisation (such as artificial intelligence) supports today's sales activities.

Content

The main themes of the course are: the importance of modern and sustainable sales for a company's business, creating the conditions for sales at the strategy and process level, the sales process, customer acquisition and building and managing customer relationships, the use of digital technologies in sales processes.

Sufficient 1
The student understands the importance of modern and responsible sales for business. The students are able to interpret the prerequisites for responsible and sustainable sales operations and, based on the interpretation, propose suitable development ideas. The student is able to use tools related to modern sales concisely or inadequately.

Satisfactory 2:
The student understands the significance of modern and responsible sales for the business. The students are able to interpret and analyse different practical case examples to each other. In addition, the student is able to conceptualize the different aspects of a modern and responsible sales process and is able to use the tools relating to the theme.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Good 3
The student understands the significance of modern and sustainable sales for the business and is able to solve various practical case examples. The student is also able to conceptualize and solve the different aspects and problems of the modern and responsible sales process and to identify related aspects of society. The student is able to use tools related to modern sales fluently.

Very Good 4
The student understands the significance of modern and sustainable sales for the business and is able to solve practical solutions. In addition, the student consistently recognizes the different stages of the process of modern and responsible sales and makes social perspectives. The student describes the motives and reasons for the connection between modern sales and responsibility. The student is also able to use tools related to modern sales almost flawlessly.

The student is able to examine responsible and sustainable sales from different perspectives extensively and is able to make judgments. The student presents conclusions about the different stages of the modern and responsible sales process, which are based on the information provided, but are also able to defend their own opinions. The student is able to gather information in a new way and propose alternative societal and responsible solutions. The student describes extensively and critically the motives and reasons for the connection between modern sales and responsibility. The student is able to use tools relating to modern sales flawlessly.
