Objective

The object of the course

The object of this course is that the student athlete learns to recognize the financial possibilities of his own sports career and he understands the basics of sports business from the perspective of his own career development. The student masters the basics required to prepare a personal marketing plan and understands the importance and expectations of partners.

After completing the course, you will recognize the student athlete's financial opportunities in a sports career and know how to apply this information in your own sports career.

Business skills: The student has a broad-based understanding of business (marketing, services, management, finance, law, etc.).

Learning to learn: Assesses and develops their competence and learning methods in different learning environments.

Learning objectives of the course

You understand the basics of sports business from the point of view of your own career development. You know how to evaluate and develop the financial possibilities of your own sports career. You understand the contents of the athlete's partnership and manager contracts. You know about sportsmen's entrepreneurship, taxation and the possibilities of social media to support a sports career.

Themes related to student athlete cooperation, such as sports management, sports marketing, social media, sport entrepreneurship and taxation.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

You know how to evaluate your own expertise, develop it and make it visible to your partners to produce added value. You know how to critically assess the opportunities brought by partnerships, use them versatilely and communicate professionally with different stakeholders.
