Objective

In the world of industry you need to be able to apply your theoretical knowledge to problems in practise. You can apply yor knowledge in actuators, vibrations, machine elements and in strength calculations.to the topical problems received from companies. Project is aimed to be multidisclipinary and the tasks are received from companies and you will use previously mentioned knowledge to solve the gotten task in a deep and broad way.

Communication and team-working: You are able to take others account and work in an effective way with the other members of the multidisclipinary team as well as an induvidual inside the team.

Engineering practice: You are able to put into practice the theoretical knowledge in actuators, machine elements and strength calculations in an established practice way.

Investigations and information retrieval: You are able to use technical simulations and analysis to solve technical design problems in a detail level for ivestications and studies.

Content

The students apply to practice the things learnt in the areas of dynamics, machine elements and strength calculations and deepen their competence in a chosen subjects.

Qualifications

The students have the basic knowledge of the strength of materials and they are able to calculate static structures. The students can utilize machine components in designing machines and their structures. The students can design basic connections of machine components. The students have the basic knowledge of material technology and they know different material groups, their properties and the most common uses in technical applications. The students are able to make workshop- and assembly drawings and they master the 3D modelling and making workshop drawings from a 3D model.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The grade forms from the project report, seminars and the documents returned in the project.

Adequate (1): You can in a minor way to utilize few of the knowledges in vibrations, actuators, machine elements and strength calculations to the given problem in practice. You have lacks in project´s complete implementation and you have also problem with the time table. Problem solving is simple and research work is very narrow. You only reach partly the goals which satisfied the client company. You have not written the report according to JAMK´s bachelor thesis report instructions. Your role in seminar presentation is humble.

Satisfactory (2): You can in some way to utilize few of the knowledges in vibrations, actuators, machine elements and strength calculations to the given problem in practice.
