Objective

The object of the course
After completing this course, you know the central areas of cybersecurity and you understand how cybersecurity contributes to the sustainable and ethical development of international business.

You develop solutions in the light of current as well as anticipated situations and challenges in business by applying knowledge, critical reasoning and analytical skills. You ensure that these solutions are feasible, relevant, creative, user-friendly, and sustainable as well as underline active cooperation amongst different actors.  

The learning objectives of the course
Upon completion of this course you understand the implications of liability in both in security and cybersecurity issues, and you are able to assess these challenges from business perspective. You utilize relevant research methods including digital technology from managerial perspective for problem solutions. You can interpret new evidence in the light of existing body of knowledge regarding the issues of digital vulnerability and make comparisons and draw inferences. You can express your intellectual contribution through scientific or professional writings to communicate professionally. You understand utility, creativity, viability, scalability, and sustainability of new solutions in the scope of security and cybersecurity of businesses.  

Content

Introduction to Cybersecurity, Societal Cybersecurity, Legislation, Data Protection, Personal Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Malware, Threats, and Vulnerabilities, Organizational Cybersecurity.

First year compulsory studies in international business.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

You can name some very basic concepts of cybersecurity, and related theory You attempt to analyze and use academic, and business information justification relevant to cybersecurity of business organisations. You recog-nize some risks in business operations and legal liabilities of organizational cybersecurity.

You are familiar with some key concepts and terms related to cybersecurity and its applications in business organisations. You know basic risks for business operations and legal liabilities of organizational cybersecurity.

Good 3
You can name the key concepts and terms related to various areas of cy-bersecurity. You know different perspectives of cybersecurity related to the societal legal liability, data management, risk management, malware, threats and vulnerability. You can propose justified development ideas for managerial problems related to cybersecurity.

You know the key concepts and terms related various areas of cybersecuri-ty. You understand the value of different perspectives of cybersecurity re-lated to the societal legal liability, data management, risk management, malware, threats and vulnerability.
