Objective

Objective of the course

Probability Theory is one of the alternative courses for applied mathematics. In this course you focus your skill in particular on the mathematics needed in machine learning.

Content

Sporadic phenomena and the concept of probability. Classic probability. Conditional probability and independence. Bayes formula. Random variable, binomial expression, Poisson and normal distribution, central limit value theorem. An overview on statistical analysis.
