Objective

You will learn the basics of the Finnish language structure (past tense verbs, sentence structure, noun declination). You will be able to communicate in familiar everyday life situations. 1 - You can understand at least half of the sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, traveling, health issues). You can produce simple sentences related to familiar and routine matters. You can describe in simple terms aspects of matters in areas of immediate need.

2 - You can understand quite often the sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, traveling, health issues). You can participate on communication situations related to simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters, but you need a lot of help and repetition.
