Objective

Purpose of the course
After completing the course, you will know the importance of organic production in Finland and in the EU. You know the terms and conditions of Finnish organic production. You know how to draw up a crop rotation plan for a farm moving to organic production and know the requirements of an organic livestock farm

Qualifications

Knowledge of the basics of crop cultivation and knowledge of the conditions of production of farm animals.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student knows the requirements of organic production compared to conventional production and is able to evaluate the possibilities of their own farm or model space to switch to organic production both for crop farming and for farm animals.
