The purpose of the course
The purpose of the course is to develop one's own skills related to the practical work of primary production by identifying one's own development needs and applying for an internship of one's own interest based on them. In addition, the aim is to adapt to the rules of the game in working life. During the course, you will learn to report what you have learned in accordance with the reporting guidelines. After completing this course, you will have practical work skills in your chosen field of primary production, working life skills and your self-assessment skills as well as your reporting skills will be developed.

The competence goal of the course

Content

The course involves 380 hours of internship in primary production. Through self-assessment and your future goals, you will determine the most suitable primary production direction for you to train, independently look for an internship place, make appropriate agreements, and adapt to the rules of the game in working life. You will report on the operation of the primary production company and your own learning during the internship, mirroring it to your goals.

You have satisfactorily completed this course after returning to the self-assessment in accordance with the instructions and defining your competence objectives before the start of the internship. You have applied for an internship approved by the instructor and made the appropriate agreements there. You have returned a written report on your internship and the development of your own professional skills in accordance with the reporting guidelines defined in the course.

The internship is carried out in primary production at home or abroad. It is not recommended to do an internship at your own home farm, you must have a good basis for it and draw up a clear plan for the development of your own skills.
You can start your internship according to an individual schedule after your instructor has approved your internship plan.
You carry out the training according to the training plan. After the internship, you will do a self-evaluation, you will receive feedback from the supervisor and the teacher in charge of your internship. The internship should be considered as hourly accounting of the work done. A learning diary is kept to evaluate one's own learning.
You create a training report based on your diary. The report describes the development of your skills and the achievement of your goals, as well as the work tasks you have done.

The internship takes place in a foreign primary employment job in rural areas at home or abroad.

The course corresponds to 405 hours of work, which is divided as follows:
Participation in information and application for an internship (15 h)
Internship work (380 h)
Internship discussion during the internship (1 h)
Internship report (9 h)

In the Workseed software, the workplace instructor and the student evaluate the development of the student's competence at the end of the internship on the themes defined before the internship. Internship hours must be completed in accordance with collective agreements.
