Course is conducted in co-operation with Jyväskylä University.

In this course, you study the theory of play, children's learning difficulties and how to support a child's play. We do exercises that support the child’s play. You work independently as a small group implementation to observe a child’s play in a practical situation. As a written assignment, you make a report on the observation of the child`s play situation.

Lectures, practical exercises. Planning and implementation of the play observation and a written report. Attendance at contact lessons is required.

Teaching methods

Tällä opintojaksolla opiskelet leikkiin, lasten oppimisvaikeuksiin ja lapsen leikkiä tukeviin keinoihin liittyvää teoriaa kontaktiopetuksessa ja itsenäisesti. Teemme yhdessä lapsen leikkiä tukevia liikunnallisia harjoituksia. Teet itsenäisesti pienryhmätoteutuksena lapsen leikin havainnoinnin käytännön tilanteessa. Kirjallisena tehtävänä teet leikin havainnoinnista raportin. Loppuseminaarissa esittelet havainnointikokemuksesi muulle ryhmälle.

Luennot, käytännön harjoitukset, leikin havainnoinnin suunnittelu, toteutus ja kirjallinen raportointi ja seminaari. Osallistumista kontaktitunneille ja webinaareihin edellytetään.
