Purpose of the course
In this course you will learn to understand the structures and function related to human body from the viewpoint of occupational therapy.

You can name the main muscles in the use of hands and arms and understand the role of different muscle work when using hand. Objectives

Purpose of the course
In this course you will learn to understand the structures and function related to human body from the viewpoint of occupational therapy.

Competences:
Knowledge of occupational therapy

Learning outcomes:
You know the basic terminology of locomotor anatomy. You understand the basic structures of human body and physiological mechanisms of the most important organ systems.You can describe the most meaningful muscles and joints related to motion and use of arms and hands. You can use palpation in order to recognize the main anatomical structures, especially needed in arm and hand functions. You can name the main muscles in the use of hands and arms and understand the role of different muscle work when using hand. You understand the basic structure and function of the nervous-muscle system. You can assess mobility, muscle production and tactile sensation of upper extremity.
