Objective
After completing the course, you will be able to express yourself naturally by singing. You recognize the level of your singing skills and the importance of its continuous maintenance and development. You also have the skills for continuous learning. You sing the repertoire you have practiced, striving for stylistic consistency. In co-operation with your teacher, you will find repertoire that matches your technical level and is suitable for you, necessary for your development, which you can also use teaching groups and individuals of different ages. In co-operation with your teacher, you set goals necessary for your singing skills. You understand the importance of finding the right training methods in terms of your development, and under the guidance of your teacher, you start to train appropriately. You are able to work in different groups and take responsibility for learning in a group as well.
Content
You will study the technical skills of singing, knowledge of musical periods and genres as well as repertoire, sight reading, musical creativity and interpretation, performance, joint music making and digital skills.

You can understand the musical elements that fit the style and you sing the repertoire you are practicing, aiming for the style appropriate choices. In co-operation with your teacher, you set goals that are necessary for your skills to develop. In c-ooperation with your teacher, you can choose repertoire that suits you and is necessary for your development, and set goals that are necessary for your singing skills. You are able to work in different groups and take responsibility for learning in a group as well. You know how to use and utilize music streaming services. You can record, edit and share sound with a mobile recorder. You know how to assemble and use simple sound reproduction equipment. You remember the basics of ergonomics and hearing care and use them in your work.

Teaching methods
You participate in instrument lessons with the supervising teacher and work independently as well.
Exam dates and retake possibilities
There will be a demonstration of instrumental competence by the end of the spring semester.
