Further information

A student's instrument lessons can be refused if the other studies do not progress as agreed with the teacher tutor/studies supervisor and the head of music. The minimum number of credits for studies completed during the academic year must be 40 credits. Otherwise, the instrument teaching for the following school year will be reviewed.

If the student has completed previous university-level instrument studies when starting the studies, the amount of instrument instruction to be given is assessed on a student-by-student basis. When evaluating the amount of instrument teaching needed to achieve the qualification goal of the degree, the student's instrument proficiency level achieved before the start of the studies is taken into account. The head of the degree program decides the amount of teaching to be given at the beginning of the studies.
