In this course, you will study the technical skills of your main instrument, knowledge of music style periods and genres, as well as repertoire, sheet music reading, musical creativity and interpretation, performance, ensemble playing and digital skills. Student's right to instrument studies:
The student's instrument teaching may be denied if other studies do not proceed as agreed with the teacher tutor / study supervisor and the head. The minimum number of credits for studies completed during the academic year must be 40 cr. Otherwise, the instrument teaching for the next academic year will be considered.
If a student has completed previous university-level instrument studies at the beginning of his or her studies, then the amount of instrument teaching provided will be assessed on a student-by-student basis. When assessing the amount of instrument teaching required to achieve the degree's competence goal, the level of instrument competence achieved by the student before the start of studies is taken into account.
