Teaching methods

The course will be completed by attending lectures that will be provided mainly in online lectures (webinar) as well as by independently watching online lectures provided by external parties.

Exam dates and retake possibilities

The final exam is on Moodle from 25 to 27 April 2025. The exam opens on Friday 25 April 2025 at 12:00 a.m. and closes on Sunday 27 April 2025 at 11:59 p.m. The first re-exam opens on Friday 9 May 2025 at 12:00 a.m. and closes on Sunday 11 May 2025 at 11:59 p.m. The second re-exam opens on Friday 16 May 2025 at 12:00 a.m. and closes on Sunday 18 May 2025 at 11:59 p.m.

More detailed information about the exam will be announced in Moodle in connection with the exam.

Alternative completion methods

The use of an optional completion method is subject to a well-founded reason that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Student workload

The learning assignments will mainly consist of court cases related to the application of legislation and the preparation of documents. Two (2) weeks have been reserved for completing each learning assignment so that the assignment will open and close at a specified time.
Student workload in hours:
virtual learning 38 h (including an online exam)
independent pair/group work 35 h
independent study / completion of learning assignments 40 h

Content scheduling

Passing the exam and successfully completing the course assignments are required to complete the course.

The assignments must be completed before taking the final exam.
The assignments will be marked pass/fail and the exam with a numerical mark.

To complete the course, you must pass the exam and pass the assignments.

If the assignments are not passed within the above timeframe or the exam is failed, the student must register for a re-exam.

Teaching methods

Opintojakso suoritetaan itsenäisenä opiskeluna suorittamalla verkkoluennot (nauhoitetut webinaarit) sekä tekemällä kurssiin kuuluvat tehtävät ja lopputentti hyväksytysti. Tehtävissä on hyväksytty/hylätty arviointi ja lopputentissä numeroarvointi. Kaikki tehtävät ja tentti pitää suorittaa hyväksytysti.

Kurssin voi suorittaa oman aikataulun puitteissa.
Kurssiin kuuluu lopputentti, joka opiskelija suorittaa itsenäisesti Moodlessa. Lopputentissä on numeroarviointi. Kurssin läpäiseminen edellyttää tehtävien ja luentojen lisäksi lopputentin suorittamista.

Content scheduling

Opintojakson suorittamiseen vaaditaan tentin läpäisemistä ja tehtävien tekemisestä hyväksytysti ja webinaarien kuuntelemista ja kuittaamista.

Opiskelija voi tehdä kurssin oman aikataulunsa puitteissa. Lopputentti ja kaikki tehtävät pitää olla tehtynä viimeistään 2 viikkoa ennen kurssin sulkeutumista.

In addition, the course includes learning assignments and exercises as well as classroom pair/group assignments.

Exam dates and retake possibilities

Exam is in the Moodle 13 th. of May 2022.The first resit exam will open on 16 th of May 2022 and close on 17 th of May 2022. The second resit exam will open on 20. May 2022 and close on 21 th of May 2022. Retake will be possible during that time without a time limit.

Content scheduling

The lectures( learning exercises will be held on a weekly basis on a variety of topics. At the same time, the student will complete learning assignments/exercises in accordance with the given schedule. The pair assignments/exercises conducted in lieu of the weekly lectures will be separately agreed upon in connection with the classes.

Further information for students

Feedback on the learning assignments every 3 to 4 weeks after the expiry of the time limit given for returning the assignment. The pair/group assignments conducted or presented during the class will be reviewed and feedback will be received on them during the class, and they also involve self and peer assessment.
