Objective

The aim of the course is to teach the student to combine information previously learned in the degree program, which can be used to solve realistic cyber security related puzzles.

You can analyze the puzzles in CTF challenges and solve them using different methods applying practice and theory.

Content

After completing this course, you will be able to combine the knowledge you have learned and apply it to solve realistic cybersecurity problems. You will learn how to analyse and solve problems encountered in Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges using a variety of methods, drawing on both practice and theory. The course will develop your ability to apply your technical skills to practical situations and strengthen your understanding of cybersecurity principles. This will equip you to work effectively and creatively in expert cybersecurity roles.

The puzzles in the course are Capture The Flag challenges where the student must find the "flag". The flag is a unique string of characters that the student can use to prove they have solved the puzzle. Students complete the course by solving the puzzles independently and writing reports on them. The course is assessed on the basis of the reports.
