Objective

Purpose of the course
After completing the course, you will have an overall picture of rural energy supply. You know how and where energy is used in the countryside and how thermal energy can be produced from your own raw materials and by-products. You also know how to design and dimension a heating system for a farm and regional size class that works with solid biofuels. You know the possibilities and operating models of energy business in a rural environment.

Competences
-technological competence
-energy competence

Competence goal of the course
You are familiar with the current state of rural energy supply as well as the main energy sources and energy uses. You know how to design and dimension a heating system using solid fuels for the farm and regional size category. You are familiar with key biofuels in rural areas as well as the opportunities and operating models of energy business as part of the rural operating environment.

Content
