After attending the course, you will understand the meaning of sexuality and its diversity in different stages of a person's life, as well as sexual health and its promotion as part of the overall well-being of a person and the community. You know how to bring up sexuality with clients.

You know sexual rights. You can examine the values and attitudes related to sexuality and understand their importance in the realization of sexual rights on an individual, community and societal level.

Content

Come and strengthen your knowledge of promoting sexual health. In this current Study Course, you will familiarize yourself with the following themes:
Dimensions of sexuality
Sexual health and sexual rights
Values and attitudes related to sexuality
Sexuality in different stages of life
Diversity of sexuality and gender
Reproductive health
Bringing out the sexuality and models of bringing out
Sexual violence and sexual crime legislation

Teaching methods

At the beginning of the course, you study the theory of sexual health promotion independently and take 3 different online tests.

In the course, you are divided into small groups, where you do a written learning task. You also read assignments returned by other groups and give peer feedback.

At the end of the study period, you return the learning diary you wrote during the study period.

You can justify the importance of sexuality and its diversity in the life stages of individuals, as well as sexual health and its promotion as part of the well-being of individuals and communities. You know the models of bringing out the sexuality.

You demonstrate that you are able to reflect on both your own and society's values and attitudes related to sexuality, as well as their effects on the realization of sexual rights from the perspectives of the individual, the community and society.

Teaching methods

During the course, you will complete a preliminary assignment, the submission of which must be submitted before the first webinar.

During the course, you will participate in 4 webinars as an active learner. The webinars include theory lessons, interactive discussions and exercises.

In between each webinar, you will have various learning assignments to do and return.

Before the final webinar, you will pass the Moodle multiple-choice online test.

In the final webinar, you will present the task of your small group and give peer feedback. After the last webinar, you will return the course portfolio.

Webinars have an attendance obligation. There will be no recordings of webinars.
