Objective

The student recognizes the different sections of automation engineering project and understands the strong dependence between them. The student has a vision about available data in the different engineering sections and a vision about data produced in that section. The student knows the documents used in automation engineering and can use them noticing also the safety practices.

TSASO- Design competence
The student knows the methods and tools of hardware and software design in automation
The student is able to produce standardized documentation.

TSASL- Competence in electricity and equipment safety
The student knows the significance and basic terminology of safety automation.

EA-EE- Engineering design
The student has an understanding of design methods and an ability to use them.

Excellent (5): The student masters the essential knowledge and can apply the knowledge acquired in a creative and innovative manner.

Very good (4): The student masters the essential knowledge and can apply the knowledge.

Good (3): The student recognizes the different sections of automation engineering project and understands the strong dependence between them. The student has a vision about available data in the different engineering sections and a vision about data produced in that section. The student knows the documents used in automation engineering and can use them noticing also the safety practices.

Satisfactory (2): The student is familiar with the basic knowledge and terminology but getting the overall picture of engineering is challenging.

Adequate (1): The student identifies the basic knowledge and terminology but in the interpreting of the essential concepts the skills are still inadequate.
