Learning Outcomes
- Definition of web service (requirement specification and service design, use case chart and descriptions)
- Design of web service (wireframe models, mockups, module chart/architecture, data moduling)
- Testing plan and testing
The course contains a demanding course assignment based on a customer's requirements.
Qualifications
Basics of user interface and usability specification, design and implementation
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
Sufficient 1: The student knows the essential description methods of web service specification and design as well as customer-centered design. The student is able to specify and design as part of a group the requirements for a web service that partly meets the requirements and is documented according to the description methods used in the course. The student has notable difficulties in critical assessment and development of their own and group’s actions.
Satisfactory 2: The student knows the essential terms of web service specification and design, the principles of service design, work methods and output. The student is able to specify and design as part of a group the requirements for a small-scale web service according to the description methods used in the course. The student has difficulties in critical assessment and development of one’s own and group’s actions.
Fail 0: The student does not meet the minimum criteria set for the course.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Good 3: The student knows the basic terms of web service specification and design as well as customer-centered design. The student is able to specify and design as part of a group a web service that meets the requirements and is documented according to the description methods used in the course. The student is able to assess their own and the group’s work critically.
Very good 4: The student masters the specification of web service and the essential description methods of design as well as customer-centered design. The student is able to specify and design as part of a group a web service that meets the requirements and is documented detailed according to the description methods used in the course. The student is able to assess his/her own and the group’s work critically and strives for development and improvement of some areas of their own performance (project management and communication, mastering the substance area).
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
