Objective
Student has the knowledge of fundamental functionalities of Windows and Linux operating systems and is able to manage the most important management and monitoring tools of previously mentioned operating systems. In addition, student understands the mutual operation between hardware and operating system.
Student is familiar with the basic database terminology. Student is able to contrive a conceptual model of database by following the given assignment. In addition, student is able to search, modify and insert data into the database.

Content
Fundamental functionalities of Windows and Linux operating systems will be explored during the course as well as the most important management and monitoring tools of these operating systems. In addition, computer hardware requirements will be examined as a part of operating system installation and deployment.
In database section, basic queries allowing the searching, inserting and modifying the data stored in database will be examined. Furthermore, the creation of conceptual model of database will be introduced as a part of the database designing phase by following the given assignment.

Sufficient 1: The student masters the core functions of Windows and Linux operating systems sufficiently. He (she) also understands the essential management and monitoring tools of the aforementioned operating system and hardware and is able to utilize them in practice. Student masters the basic database queries and is able to create a conceptual model of a database by following the given assignment sufficiently.
Satisfactory 2: The student masters the core functions of Windows and Linux operating systems satisfyingly. He (she) also understands the essential management and monitoring tools of the aforementioned operating system and hardware and is able to utilize them in practice. Student masters the basic database queries and is able to create a conceptual model of a database by following the given assignment satisfyingly.
