Objective
The student recognises research requirements related to occupation, occupational therapy and/or occupational science. The student independently searches for information, examines it critically and analyses and applies this in a way that supports his/her own work, ensuring that the foundation for hands-on work is current and appropriate for his/her clients. The student is able to convince others of the importance of occupational therapy and human occupation using sound and reasonable argumentation. The student works in cooperation with communities in order to improve health and wellbeing by promoting participation in occupation. The student is able to critically assess hands-on occupational therapy ensuring that occupation and functional ability remain its key focuses. The student gains a competence in and uses the assessment methods in occupational therapy and knows how to interpret the results.
