BASIC LEADERSHIP SKILLS educational space starting from FALL 2021 offers two Leadership possibilities to the students according to the attitude/size of the class & the previous leadership studies (this direction is decided by the teacher semester by semester):
1. The *School of Human Transformative Leadership©* conceived and designed by Marcella Zoccoli in 2020 in the digital womb of the BLS course, and co-created and piloted with 70 students in Spring 2021 is an 11 weeks leadership journey open to all the students willing to travel, explore and expand their knowledge/experience in the leadership universe.
2. Basic Leadership Skills - the original journey - for 30 students the course formula seminar+workshop could include one-to-one coaching sessions with Marcella or the EspressoSkillsLAB©MZ21 for the development of the individual and collective skills.

- Brief historical background, definitions, selected theories, and styles
- The area of the Leading of the Self - the Leader as an individual
- Intra & interpersonal relations in Leadership: Human Intelligences Intertwined by Technology
- Leadership Experience
- The Future of Leadership ?
These courses are designed to:
1. Learn the differences between leadership and management and explore leadership eras, theories and styles
2. Increase the students’ understanding of the concept of leadership from the perspective of the leading of the Self and that of the Leadership Experience (relationship with people/stakeholders/followers)
3. Experience emotional intelligence and contemplative practices as pedagogical tool
4. Understand and Experience the 4 human intelligences and their role in creating and performing a balanced and holistic leadership process
5. Explore the Future of Leadership in the Digital Era
The student develops the basic understanding of the leadership process and definitions, theories and styles. The student becomes familiar with the main elements of the practice of the leading of the Self and other people. He or she is self-aware and develops social skills needed in the relationship to other people. He/she trains the skills of listening, reading and inspiring people in the working environment using the components of the emotional intelligence. The student will acquire the knowledge of the leadership and will put it into action. The self-awareness and the experiential learning process of the students will be facilitated by introducing the concept of the Emotional Intelligence, the principle of Mindfulness and the elements of Inner Engineering.

- Sufficient (1) - The student shows only a sufficient understanding of the subject and of relevant theories and methods and fails to show a convincing ability to apply the knowledge to real life situation nor to communicate the concepts in an effective manner.
- Satisfactory (2)- The students knowledge covers restricted part of concepts and theories related to the subject and has deficiencies in showing the ability to apply them in assignments. Communication skills need improvement..
Assessment criteria, good (3)
Good (3) The students knowledge covers major parts of concepts and theories related to the subject. The student´s ability to apply the knowledge to assignments shows need for improvement, as well as there is room for improvement in oral and written communication
Very Good (4) - The student shows good knowledge of the subject fundamentals and concepts and is able to communicate these in an effective way

Excellent (5) - The student shows exceptional theoretical knowledge of fundamentals of the subject. The student demonstrates the ability to apply the knowledge to assignments and presentations with excellent written and oral communications skills

BASIC LEADERSHIP SKILLS educational space starting from FALL 2021 offers two Leadership possibilities to the students according to the attitude/size of the class & the previous leadership studies (this direction is decided by the teacher semester by semester):
1. The *School of Human Transformative Leadership©* conceived and designed by Marcella Zoccoli in 2020 in the digital womb of the BLS course, and co-created and piloted with 70 students in Spring 2021 is an 11 weeks leadership journey open to all the students willing to travel, explore and expand their knowledge/experience in the leadership universe.
2. Basic Leadership Skills - the original journey - for 30 students the course formula seminar+workshop could include one-to-one coaching sessions with Marcella or the EspressoSkillsLAB©MZ21 for the development of the individual and collective skills.

These courses are designed to:
1. Learn the differences between leadership and management and explore leadership eras, theories and styles
2. Increase the students’ understanding of the concept of leadership from the perspective of the leading of the Self and that of the Leadership Experience (relationship with people/stakeholders/followers)
3. Experience emotional intelligence and contemplative practices as pedagogical tool
4. Understand and Experience the 4 human intelligences and their role in creating and performing a balanced and holistic leadership process
5. Explore the Future of Leadership in the Digital Era
The student develops the basic understanding of the leadership process and definitions, theories and styles. The student becomes familiar with the main elements of the practice of the leading of the Self and other people. He or she is self-aware and develops social skills needed in the relationship to other people. He/she trains the skills of listening, reading and inspiring people in the working environment using the components of the emotional intelligence. The student will acquire the knowledge of the leadership and will put it into action. The self-awareness and the experiential learning process of the students will be facilitated by introducing the concept of the Emotional Intelligence, the principle of Mindfulness and the elements of Inner Engineering.

Content
BASIC LEADERSHIP SKILLS educational space starting from FALL 2021 offers two Leadership possibilities to the students according to the attitude/size of the class & the previous leadership studies (this direction is decided by the teacher semester by semester):
1. The *School of Human Transformative Leadership©* conceived and designed by Marcella Zoccoli in 2020 in the digital womb of the BLS course, and co-created and piloted with 70 students in Spring 2021 is an 11 weeks leadership journey open to all the students willing to travel, explore and expand their knowledge/experience in the leadership universe.
2. Basic Leadership Skills - the original journey - for 30 students the course formula seminar+workshop could include one-to-one coaching sessions with Marcella or the EspressoSkillsLAB©MZ21 for the development of the individual and collective skills.

- Introduction to Leadership - theoretical framework of Theory U
- Brief historical background, definitions, selected theories, and styles
- The area of the Leading of the Self - the Leader as an individual
- Intra & interpersonal relations in Leadership: Human Intelligences Intertwined by Technology
- Leadership Experience
- The Future of Leadership ?
These courses are designed to:
1. Learn the differences between leadership and management and explore leadership eras, theories and styles
2. Increase the students’ understanding of the concept of leadership from the perspective of the leading of the Self and that of the Leadership Experience (relationship with people/stakeholders/followers)
3. Experience emotional intelligence and contemplative practices as pedagogical tool
4. Understand and Experience the 4 human intelligences and their role in creating and performing a balanced and holistic leadership process
5. Explore the Future of Leadership in the Digital Era
The student develops the basic understanding of the leadership process and definitions, theories and styles. The student becomes familiar with the main elements of the practice of the leading of the Self and other people. He or she is self-aware and develops social skills needed in the relationship to other people. He/she trains the skills of listening, reading and inspiring people in the working environment using the components of the emotional intelligence. The student will acquire the knowledge of the leadership and will put it into action. The self-awareness and the experiential learning process of the students will be facilitated by introducing the concept of the Emotional Intelligence, the principle of Mindfulness and the elements of Inner Engineering.

Evaluation criteria, satisfactory (1-2)
- Sufficient (1) - The student shows only a sufficient understanding of the subject and of relevant theories and methods and fails to show a convincing ability to apply the knowledge to real life situation nor to communicate the concepts in an effective manner.
- Satisfactory (2)- The students knowledge covers restricted part of concepts and theories related to the subject and has deficiencies in showing the ability to apply them in assignments. Communication skills need improvement..
Evaluation criteria, good (3-4)
Good (3) The students knowledge covers major parts of concepts and theories related to the subject. The student´s ability to apply the knowledge to assignments shows need for improvement, as well as there is room for improvement in oral and written communication
Very Good (4) - The student shows good knowledge of the subject fundamentals and concepts and is able to communicate these in an effective way
Evaluation criteria, excellent (5)
Excellent (5) - The student shows exceptional theoretical knowledge of fundamentals of the subject. The student demonstrates the ability to apply the knowledge to assignments and presentations with excellent written and oral communications skills
