Tavoitteet

This course introduces you to the concept of Industry 5.0, which adds a more sustainable, human-centric approach to the concept of Industry 4.0. Hence, you will learn the principles of Industry 5.0 on how digital transformation can contribute with the help of advanced technologies to productivity and as a result how industry can more effectively contribute to society.

The target competences to develop in this course are sustainable development and operating in a workplace.

Sustainable development:
You are familiar with the principles of sustainable management. You can identify sustainability challenges at the workplace and suggest solutions.

Operating in a workplace:
You understand the complexity of changing working life and your own resilience in changing working life situations. You also understand the opportunities offered by technology and digitalization in the workplace. You are able to promote the work community's well-being.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat

Yleensä kurssin suorittamiseen ei ole muuta vaihtoehtoa kuin tämän toteutuksen jatkuva online-tila. Aiemman oppimisen tunnustaminen voidaan myöntää vain poikkeuksellisissa olosuhteissa, ja luennoitsijan harkinnan mukaan hyväksytään tällaiset järjestelyt. Käytännössä kurssista vastaava luennoitsija ei ole toistaiseksi myöntänyt tunnustusta aiemmasta oppimisesta.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

Ohjeellinen ajankäyttösi 3 opintopisteen opintojaksolla on 81 työtuntia, joka jakautuu seuraavasti:
Orientaatio opintojaksoon 5 h
Oppimateriaaliin perehtyminen 20 h
Oppimistehtävien tekeminen 20 h
Itsenäinen opiskelu 11 h
Kontaktiopetus 20 h

Satisfactory (2):
You are aware of the concepts of Industry 5.0 and the principles of sustainable management. You can identify sustainability challenges at the workplace and attempt to suggest solutions. You are also aware of opportunities offered by technology and digitalization in the workplace and attempt to utilize them.

Good (3):
You have a good understanding of the concepts of Industry 5.0 and the principles of sustainable management. You can identify sustainability challenges at the workplace and suggest solutions.
