Objective

This course introduces you to the concept of Industry 5.0, which adds a more sustainable, human-centric approach to the concept of Industry 4.0. Hence, you will learn the principles of Industry 5.0 on how digital transformation can contribute with the help of advanced technologies to productivity and as a result how industry can more effectively contribute to society.

The target competences to develop in this course are sustainable development and operating in a workplace.

Sustainable development:
You are familiar with the principles of sustainable management. You can identify sustainability challenges at the workplace and suggest solutions.

Operating in a workplace:
You understand the complexity of changing working life and your own resilience in changing working life situations. You also understand the opportunities offered by technology and digitalization in the workplace. You are able to promote the work community's well-being.

In general, there is no alternative way to complete the course other than the continuous online mode of this implementation. Recognition of prior learning can be granted only in exceptional circumstances, and it is at the lecturer's discretion to approve such arrangements.
