Objective
The purpose of the field work is to deepen your understanding in tourism and hospitality industry through varied work experiences. You can join the projects that you find interesting and relevant to your career plans. The projects will be informed to students by email and/or Tourism&hospitality teams. Projects can be different Hands-on tasks in events, research projects, development projects etc. Tourism management teachers will tutor the projects.

After completing Field work projects you have better understanding about the specific tasks in tourism and hospitality field. You can identify better your own strengths and development areas in the field and related to your career plans.
Content
Working in the specific task in the project under the supervision of the tutor, reporting the used working hours, tasks and competence development during the project.

The time and the place are dependable on the project you will be involved with.
Teaching methods
Field work project means working in the tourism and hospitality field related project. Projects will be informed by tourism management teachers in students' email and Tourism&Hospitality Teams. Projects will be tutored by the teachers.

You will work in a project or event in tourism and hospitality field.
Exam schedules
There is no exam in the field work project, but you have to report the working hours, tasks and learning from the project.
Student workload
Working hours are dependable on the project and agreed case by case.
