Objective

The purpose of the study module is to strengthen the student's competence in understanding the connection between age diversity, human resource practices, and organisational performance. Additionally, the aim is to deepen expertise in strategic career management and in shaping organisational culture to support career management. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - Apply various theoretical perspectives to career management and age management. - Design concrete measures and strategies to strengthen and develop career management within organisations.

Location and time

There are no scheduled lectures; the entire course will be completed as an online study.

Materials

All materials and literature for the course unit are available in Moodle, which will open at the start of the implementation.

Teaching methods

A course implemented entirely online, to be completed according to one’s own schedule. Studies may be commenced and concluded at a personally convenient time. There are alternative submission dates for assignments. However, please note that completed work is processed and recorded during the first week of each month. The implementation includes independent work and a variety of learning support materials (videos, literature, written assignment, peer assessment). All assignments are individual tasks, although they may contain components subject to peer assessment. The implementation progresses according to a planned schedule, but may also be completed entirely at one’s own pace.

Exam schedules

Examinations in Moodle can be completed at one's own pace. Each exam may be retaken three times, and a pass requires 60% correct answers. The exam can only be retaken 24 hours after the previous attempt.
