Content scheduling

The course is implemented online during March-May 2021 (weeks 9-18).

Objective

Student is able to apply experience design triangle model in the creation and development of accessible service product. She/he is able to utilize service design process and its tools in the development of high-quality, customer-oriented service product. He/She understands service production process from the perspective of a customer in need of accessible services and is able to produce services taking into account different customers. Student understands the meaning of instructions and communication in the production of good service experience and is able to apply that know how in practice.

Internationalisation aspect is accommodated to this implementation using also international examples and material of accessible tourism.

Completion alternatives

You have the right to apply for recognition of your studies if you have prior learning (e.g. university studies completed elsewhere) that can be accredited towards the degree you are currently completing.

Student workload

One credit corresponds to an average of 27 hours of work, which means that the load of five credits is approximately 135 hours. The load is distributed as follows:
* online webinars and group discussions 35
* independent assignments and other independent work (studying of literature, preparing for lectures) 100

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Accessibility service production competence is achieved when the student has demonstrated through learning assignments 1) understanding the different steps of the service design process and being able to utilize the tools associated with it independently; 2) understands the service production process from the perspective of a customer in need of accessible services 3) understands the importance of instruction and communication in achieving a good service experience.
