Teaching methods

The learning method used is problem-based learning. Concrete learning takes place through laboratory tasks and measurements. Guidance is provided in the laboratory while carrying out the tasks.

Alternative completion methods

The course includes exercises and laboratory work related to automation hardware design. The procedures for assessment are described in the examination regulations and the study guide. The course tutor will provide further information on any specific procedures for the course.

Total workload 54 h of coursework, including preliminary assignments, laboratory work and reporting.

Content scheduling

Before the laboratory work, the preliminary tasks must have been completed. Each student will have two separate visits (one in the automation lab and one in the electrical lab).
