Transport Management is one of the key business processes of supply chain. By Transport Management Systems you can manage transports, improve service and reduce cost whilst reducing environmental impact. By managing and controlling transports, you can proactively react for better customer need fulfillment.

During the course you will learn basics of Transport Management and meaning of basic concepts of Transport Management Systems. Course will also help to understand basics of logistics network and monitoring of results. After the course you will have a perspective to transport management tasks.

Some of the learning assignments are done individually, some in small groups, some require independent work. The assignments are described in more detail in the course workspace.

The first assignment on this course is mandatory for all students and must be completed within 3 weeks from the beginning of the course. Students that have not completed this first assignment, will be removed from the course.
