Objective

You will learn about basic building technology solutions, such as heat distribution, cooling and ventilation, as well as electrical house technology in general. Studying in the course requires basic skills in the field of technology, and the course enables the study of automatic control and regulation practices in building technology in other courses.

You know the measurement technology used in building technology and the most common control strategies. You can read the most common building services documents and diagrams.

Satisfactory (2): You are familiar with the key functions of building services and outline its significance for energy efficiency and indoor conditions. You identify key building services equipment, systems and processes. You have an understanding of how systems work, but understanding the whole is challenging.

Good 3: You are familiar with key building services equipment, systems and processes and can interpret the diagrams associated with them. You know the goals set for indoor conditions in regulations and recommendations. You know the key effects of building technology on energy efficiency and indoor conditions. You identify the typical risks associated with building services for a healthy building. You are familiar with the key electronic building services systems.
