Objective

Purpose of the course
In this course, you will introduce yourself with evidence-based nursing and learn to utilize it in nursing decision-making, as well as understand the responsibility of your own professional role in evidence-based nursing. You will also familiarize yourself with the legislation governing the service system, services and customer service in the social and health sector.

Learning to learn: Can acquire, critically evaluate and appropriately apply the national and international knowledge base and practices of one's field.

Acting in working life: Can act professionally in communication and interaction situations in working life.

Ethical competence: Understands the principles of good scientific practice and acts in accordance with them.

Teaching methods

Opintojaksolla tutustut luento-opetuksen, case-työskentelyn ja itsenäisen työskentelyn kautta sosiaali- ja terveysalan muuttuvaan palvelujärjestelmään ja palveluja koskevaan lainsäädäntöön. Ryhmäkeskustelujen ja tehtävien avulla opit hahmottamaan asiakkaan asemaa ja oikeuksia määrittävän lainsäädännön merkityksen.

Opit hankkimaan, kriittisesti arvioimaan sekä tarkoituksenmukaisesti soveltamaan oman alasi kansallista ja kansainvälistä tietoperustaa ja käytäntöjä kontakteilla tehtävien harjoitusten ja pienryhmätoiminnan kautta. Kontaktiopetuksessa tutustut hyvän tieteellisen käytännön periaatteisiin ja opintojakson tehtävissä harjoittelet niiden mukaisesti toimimista.

Ryhmätehtävien avulla opit tunnistamaan tarpeen näyttöön perustuvalle hoitotyölle ja työelämän tarpeesta nousevien esimerkkien kautta opit toteuttamaan sitä. Pienryhmätehtävässä opit soveltamaan näyttöön perustuvaa tietoa hoitotyön suunnittelussa, toteutuksessa ja arvioinnissa. Pienryhmätoiminnan kautta opit toimimaan ammatillisesti työelämän viestintä- ja vuorovaikutustilanteissa.

Objectives

Purpose of the course
In this course, you will introduce yourself with evidence-based nursing and learn to utilize it in nursing decision-making, as well as understand the responsibility of your own professional role in evidence-based nursing. You will also familiarize yourself with the legislation governing the service system, services and customer service in the social and health sector.

Teaching methods

Opintojaksolla tutustut luento-opetuksen, case-työskentelyn ja itsenäisen työskentelyn kautta sosiaali- ja terveysalan muuttuvaan palvelujärjestelmään ja palveluja koskevaan lainsäädäntöön. Ryhmäkeskustelujen ja tehtävien avulla opit hahmottamaan asiakkaan asemaa ja oikeuksia määrittävän lainsäädännön merkityksen.

Opit hankkimaan, kriittisesti arvioimaan sekä tarkoituksenmukaisesti soveltamaan oman alasi kansallista ja kansainvälistä tietoperustaa ja käytäntöjä kontakteilla tehtävien harjoitusten ja pienryhmätoiminnan kautta. Kontaktiopetuksessa tutustut hyvän tieteellisen käytännön periaatteisiin ja opintojakson tehtävissä harjoittelet niiden mukaisesti toimimista.

Ryhmätehtävien avulla opit tunnistamaan tarpeen näyttöön perustuvalle hoitotyölle ja työelämän tarpeesta nousevien esimerkkien kautta opit toteuttamaan sitä. Pienryhmätehtävässä opit soveltamaan näyttöön perustuvaa tietoa hoitotyön suunnittelussa, toteutuksessa ja arvioinnissa. Pienryhmätoiminnan kautta opit toimimaan ammatillisesti työelämän viestintä- ja vuorovaikutustilanteissa.

Objectives

Purpose of the course
In this course, you will introduce yourself with evidence-based nursing and learn to utilize it in nursing decision-making, as well as understand the responsibility of your own professional role in evidence-based nursing. You will also familiarize yourself with the legislation governing the service system, services and customer service in the social and health sector.

Acting in working life: Can act professionally in communication and interaction situations in working life.

Ethical competence: Understands the principles of good scientific practice and acts in accordance with them.

After taking the course, you will understand the changing service system of the social and health sector and the legislation regarding the services, and you will understand the meaning of the legislation defining the client's status and rights.

Key nursing concepts, values, nursing process, nursing science databases and nursing recommendations, documentation and related legislation.

The service system of the social and health sector, the central legislation governing it and the supervision of the service system. The importance of social and health services for individuals, communities and society.

Teaching methods

Opintojaksolla tutustut luento-opetuksen, case-työskentelyn ja itsenäisen työskentelyn kautta sosiaali- ja terveysalan muuttuvaan palvelujärjestelmään ja palveluja koskevaan lainsäädäntöön. Ryhmäkeskustelujen ja tehtävien avulla opit hahmottamaan asiakkaan asemaa ja oikeuksia määrittävän lainsäädännön merkityksen.

Opit hankkimaan, kriittisesti arvioimaan sekä tarkoituksenmukaisesti soveltamaan oman alasi kansallista ja kansainvälistä tietoperustaa ja käytäntöjä kontakteilla tehtävien harjoitusten ja pienryhmätoiminnan kautta. Kontaktiopetuksessa tutustut hyvän tieteellisen käytännön periaatteisiin ja opintojakson tehtävissä harjoittelet niiden mukaisesti toimimista.

Ryhmätehtävien avulla opit tunnistamaan tarpeen näyttöön perustuvalle hoitotyölle ja työelämän tarpeesta nousevien esimerkkien kautta opit toteuttamaan sitä. Pienryhmätehtävässä opit soveltamaan näyttöön perustuvaa tietoa hoitotyön suunnittelussa, toteutuksessa ja arvioinnissa. Pienryhmätoiminnan kautta opit toimimaan ammatillisesti työelämän viestintä- ja vuorovaikutustilanteissa.
