Objective
The object of the course
In this course, you will familiarize yourself with the basic concepts and definitions of jurisprudence, as well as the legislation governing contract law and environmental legislation, principles of contract law, and legal practice. Teaching methods
The course is completed by participating in lecture teaching, which is implemented as online teaching. According to a separate announcement, the lectures can also be regarded as independent monitoring of online lectures offered by external operators (e.g. Eduhouse). The course includes learning assignments and possible pair and group assignments as well as a final exam.
Exam dates and retake possibilities
The grade of the study course is determined on the basis of the final exam held in Moodle on November 22 - 24, 2024.
If the exam is rejected, a re-exam will be held in Moodle for these parts. The first re-examination opens on December 6, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. and closes on December 8, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. The second re-examination opens on December 13, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. and closes on December 15, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. You must register for the re-exam no later than two days before the exam date by sending an email to the teacher. You can only take part in the exam after all the learning / lesson assignments have been returned. More detailed information about the exam will be announced in Moodle in connection with the exam.
Alternative completion methods
The use of an optional completion method is subject to a well-founded reason that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Student workload
The learning assignments will mainly consist of court cases related to the application of legislation and the preparation of documents. Two (2) weeks have been reserved for completing each learning assignment so that the assignment will open and close at a specified time.

Objectives
The object of the course
In this course, you will familiarize yourself with the basic concepts and definitions of jurisprudence, as well as the legislation governing contract law and environmental legislation, principles of contract law, and legal practice. You will develop your own expertise in contract law matters and apply what you have learned in practical situations. Contract law is the most central legal area, and you will need the knowledge of contract law not only in your studies, but also constantly in your work, irrespective of whether you work in the private or public sector.

Exam dates and retake possibilities
Exam is in the Moodle 5. - 7. May 2023. The first resit exam will open on 19 May 2023 at 7:00 and close on 21 May 2023 at 23.59. The second resit exam will open on 26 May 2023 at 7:00 and close on 28 May 2023 at 23.59. Retake will be possible during that time without a time limit.
Alternative completion methods
The use of an optional completion method is subject to a well-founded reason that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Student workload
The learning assignments will mainly consist of court cases related to the application of legislation and the preparation of documents. Two (2) weeks have been reserved for completing each learning assignment so that the assignment will open and close at a specified time.

Content scheduling

The object of the course

Exam dates and retake possibilities
Exam is in the Moodle 5. - 7. May 2023. The first resit exam will open on 19 May 2023 at 7:00 and close on 21 May 2023 at 23.59. The second resit exam will open on 26 May 2023 at 7:00 and close on 28 May 2023 at 23.59. Retake will be possible during that time without a time limit.

Exam dates and retake possibilities
Exam is in the Moodle 6. - 8. May 2022. The first resit exam will open on 20 May 2022 at 7:00 and close on 22 May 2022 at 23.59. The second resit exam will open on 27 May 2021 at 7:00 and close on 29 May 2022 at 23.59. Retake will be possible during that time without a time limit.
Alternative completion methods
The use of an optional completion method is subject to a well-founded reason that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Student workload
The learning assignments will mainly consist of court cases related to the application of legislation and the preparation of documents. Two (2) weeks have been reserved for completing each learning assignment so that the assignment will open and close at a specified time.

Content scheduling
The lectures will be held on a weekly basis on a variety of topics. At the same time, the student will complete learning assignments/exercises in accordance with the given schedule. The pair assignments/exercises conducted in lieu of the weekly lectures will be separately agreed upon in connection with the classes.
Further information for students
Written feedback on the learning assignments every 3 to 4 weeks after the expiry of the time limit given for returning the assignment. The pair/group assignments conducted or presented during the class will be reviewed and feedback will be received on them during the class, and they also involve self and peer assessment.

Objectives
The object of the course
In this course, you will familiarize yourself with the basic concepts and definitions of jurisprudence, as well as the legislation governing contract law and environmental legislation, principles of contract law, and legal practice. You will develop your own expertise in contract law matters and apply what you have learned in practical situations. Contract law is the most central legal area, and you will need the knowledge of contract law not only in your studies, but also constantly in your work, irrespective of whether you work in the private or public sector.
