Teaching methods

Even though the course is offered during the day, the implementation is such that it can also be completed by multi-disciplinary students.The course will be completed by attending lectures that will be provided in the form of both classroom and online lectures (webinar) as well as by independently watching online lectures provided by external parties. In addition, the course includes learning assignments and exercises as well as classroom pair/group assignments.

Exam dates and retake possibilities

Two (2) of the learning tasks are assessed as affecting the grade in accordance with the assessment criteria and scale.
If both or one of the learning tasks is rejected, a new version of these parts will be held online. The first replay opens on Friday 6 December 2024 at 7:00 a.m. and closes on Sunday 8 December 2024 at 11:59 p.m. The second replay opens on Friday 13 December 2024 at 7:00 a.m. and closes on Sunday 15 December 2024 at 11:59 p.m. You must register for the retake no later than two days before the exam date by sending an e-mail to the teacher. You can only take part in the exam after all the learning / lesson assignments have been returned. More detailed information about the exam will be announced in Moodle in connection with the exam. Exams are possible throughout that time without a time limit.

Alternative completion methods

The use of an optional completion method is subject to a well-founded reason that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Student workload

The learning assignments will mainly consist of court cases related to the application of legislation and the preparation of documents. Two (2) weeks have been reserved for completing each learning assignment so that the assignment will open and close at a specified time.

Content scheduling

The lectures will be held on a weekly basis on a variety of topics. At the same time, the student will complete learning assignments/exercises in accordance with the given schedule. Further information for students

Written feedback on the learning assignments every 3 to 4 weeks after the expiry of the time limit given for returning the assignment. The pair/group assignments conducted or presented during the class will be reviewed and feedback will be received on them during the class, and they also involve self and peer assessment.

If both or one of the learning assignments receives a failing grade, a resit exam will be arranged online. The first resit exam will open on Friday, 10 May 2024 at 7:00 and close on Sunday, 12 May 2024 at 18:00. The second resit exam will open on Friday, 17 May 2024 at 7:00 and close on Sunday, 19 May 2024 at 18:00. Retake will be possible during that time without a time limit.

Alternative completion methods

The use of an optional completion method is subject to a well-founded reason that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Teaching methods

The course will be completed by attending lectures that will be provided online lectures (webinar) as well as by independently watching online lectures provided by external parties. In addition, the course includes learning assignments and exercises as well as classroom pair/group assignments.

Exam dates and retake possibilities

Two (2) of the learning assignments will be assessed in accordance with the assessment criteria and scale and they will have an effect on the overall grade. If both or one of the learning assignments receives a failing grade, a resit exam will be arranged online. The first resit exam will open on Friday, 13 January 2023 at 7:00 and close on Sunday, 15 January 2023 at 18:00. The second resit exam will open on Friday, 20 January 2023 at 7:00 and close on Sunday, 22 January 2023 at 18:00. Retake will be possible during that time without a time limit.

Alternative completion methods

The use of an optional completion method is subject to a well-founded reason that will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Student workload

The learning assignments will mainly consist of court cases related to the application of legislation and the preparation of documents. Two (2) weeks have been reserved for completing each learning assignment so that the assignment will open and close at a specified time.

Content scheduling

The lectures will be held on a weekly basis on a variety of topics. At the same time, the student will complete learning assignments/exercises in accordance with the given schedule. The pair assignments/exercises conducted in lieu of the weekly lectures will be separately agreed upon in connection with the classes.

Further information for students

Written feedback on the learning assignments every 3 to 4 weeks after the expiry of the time limit given for returning the assignment. The pair/group assignments conducted or presented during the class will be reviewed and feedback will be received on them during the class, and they also involve self and peer assessment.
