Osaamistavoitteet

Opintojakson tarkoitus

Opintojakso on tarkoitettu suoritettavaksi opintojakson Mat 3 Derivaatta ja integraali rinnalla. Opintojaksolla saat tukea opiskeluusi ja harjoittelet ohjatusti Mat 3 Derivaatta ja integraali -opintojakson sisällön hallintaa.

Opintojakson osaamiset

Opintojaksolla edistetään ja arvioidaan ymmärrystä insinööritieteiden pohjana olevista matemaattisista periaatteista derivaatan ja integraalin käsitteiden osalta.

Sinulla on tieto ja ymmärrys oman teknisen erikoistumisalasi matemaattisista ja luonnontieteellisistä perusteista tasolla, joka on tarpeen ohjelman muiden oppimistavoitteiden saavuttamiseksi.

Opintojakson suoritettuasi olet lisännyt ja vahvistanut opintojakson Mat3 Derivaatta ja integraali sisältöihin liittyvää osaamistasi.

Sisältö

Opintojaksolla saat varmuutta laskurutiineihin sekä vahvistat ymmärrystäsi derivaatan ja integraalin käsitteistä eri tyyppisten harjoitustehtävien avulla.

Esitietovaatimukset

Ymmärrät funktion käsitteen ja funktioihin liittyvät merkinnät ja osaat ratkaista yksinkertaisia alkeisfunktioihin liittyviä tehtäviä tarvittaessa apuvälineen avulla.

Arviointikriteeri, hyväksytty/hylätty

Tunnet derivaatan ja integraalin käsitteiden geometrisen ja fysikaalisen tulkinnan. Osaat derivoida ja integroida polynomin tarvittaessa apuvälineen avulla sekä arvioida derivaatan ja integraalin arvoja, kun käytössäsi on funktion kuvaaja.

Course purpose

This course is meant to be taken simultaneously with Math3 Derivative and Integral. On this course you receive support in your studies and rehearse the contents of Math3 Derivative and Integral with guidance.

Course competences

During this course you further your knowledge of mathematical principles underlying engineering with regard to the derivative and the integral.
EUR-ACE: Knowledge and understanding 
You have the knowledge and understanding of mathematics and other basic sciences underlying your engineering specialisation, at a level necessary to achieve the other programme learning outcomes (EA-KW).

Learning outcomes

After completing this course you have increased and strengthened your knowledge about the contents of Math3 Derivative and Integral course.

Content

During this course you develop your competence with calculation routines. You practice and strengthen your knowledge about the concepts of the derivative and the integral with different types of exercises.

Location and time

Course is implemented in 2.9. - 1.12. The course is intended to be studied together with the implementation TZLM3300-3084.

You know the physical and geometric interpretation of the derivative and the integral. You are able to differentiate polynomial expressions with the help of information technology if necessary. You are able to estimate values of derivatives and integrals when you have a graph of a function at your disposal.

Qualifications

You understand the concept of a function and notation of functions and are able to solve simple tasks related to elementary functions, using information technology if necessary.
